School of Continuing Education Receives $500,000 Grant for Supporting English Language Education in Egypt
AUC’sSchool of Continuing Education (SCE), has been awarded a two-year, $500,000 grant from the Regional English Language Office (RELO) at the United States Embassy in Cairo, marking the largest single award from the U.S. government to SCE in recent memory.

Graduation of El Sheikh Zayed School
The English for Young Learners, K12 on School Premises program recently graduated a new class of 58 students from EIS School Sheikh Zayed. Since the program's founding by AUC/SCE in 2015, 10,000 students in numerous schools across Egypt have benefited from it.

SCE English Oral Communication Program for Young Learners
SCE will start its English Oral Communication Program for Young Learners on June 13, 2023. The program focuses on improving your child's ability to speak in English and communicate efficiently in an English-speaking context. Our classrooms are filled with fun activities that provide ample authentic listening comprehension segments, which enhance listening skills to help your child speak confidently in real-life situations. Our experienced teachers pay special attention to pronunciation, stress, and intonation while expanding your child's vocabulary with words related to every lesson.

Celebrating a Milestone Achievement in Marketing Research Education!
We are thrilled to announce that the School of Continuing Education has partnered with Ipsos, a leading global market research company, to launch the Certified Marketing Researcher Program. We are witnessing an exciting signage ceremony between James Ketterer, Dean of the School of Continuing Education and Yasser Omar, Managing Director, IPSOS MENA. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the field of marketing research education.

SCE at UPCEA Conference
SCE Dean James Ketterer attended the annual conference of the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA), held in Washington, DC. At the conference, he organized and participated in a panel that explores the tension between local responsibilities and global opportunities for schools of continuing education. The panel included fellow deans from Harvard, McGill, Cambridge, Melbourne and Hong Kong, and a moderator from ThriveDX.

Crisis Management New Certificate
The Career Development Department is thrilled to announce the launch of its latest course in Crisis Management. The program offers a comprehensive approach to tackling all aspects of crisis management, from understanding the nature of a crisis to implementing preventive measures and executing agile leadership during challenging times. Additionally, the course emphasizes the importance of effective communication and media management in the face of a crisis.

We are thrilled to announce that Amira El-Deeb, Director of the Career Development Department (#CDD) at AUC's School of Continuing education, has been invited to attend the prestigious annual Wintrade summit and Silver Jubilee celebration at the UK Parliament, House of Lords in London.
