Yes, the Evaluation, Testing and Assessment Department (ETAD) of the AUC School of Continuing education (SCE) is certified as a test center from Cambridge University, UK, to administer all its tests at its venues:
- AUC Tahrir Square campus: 24 El Falaki Street, Bab El Louk, P.O. Box 2511, Cairo 11511, Egypt.
- AUC New Cairo campus: Campus Development Building Entrance Gate 4, AUC Avenue, New Cairo, Egypt.
You can receive your Cambridge test results from the EATD office located at:
- AUC Tahrir Square: 24 El Falaki Street, Bab El Louk, Room G04A, P.O. Box 2511, Cairo 11511, Egypt.
IELTS is the International English Language Testing System. It measures the ability of non-native English speakers to use and understand the English language. It covers the four English language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It has two formats:
- Academic for test takers wishing to study at undergraduate or postgraduate levels
- General Training for test takers wishing to migrate to an English-speaking country (UK, Canada)

IELTS test results are valid for two years from the date of the certificate's issued.
The School of Continuing Education offers a preparation course for the IELTS test. You can register for any preparation course through the SCE offices at the following locations:

No, the Exams Department (ETAD) at the School of Continuing Education is certified as a test center for administering the test only. The test is conducted at AUC Tahrir Square campus: 24 El Falaki Street, Bab El Louk, Cairo, Egypt.
To reschedule or cancel your test appointment, you must do so at least four full days before your test date. For example, if your test appointment is on Saturday, you must reschedule or cancel it by Tuesday.
If you are age 15 or younger when you take the test, ETS suggests you be accompanied by a parent or other authorized adult age 18 or older, who will be required to complete and sign a release form at the test center.
You and the parent or authorized person must present a valid, acceptable ID, or you won’t be able to take the test.
At the end of the test, you can view your unofficial scores for the listening and reading sections only to give you an idea of how you did on the test.
Test scores are posted online approximately 6 - 10 days after the test.
No, the Exams Department (ETAD) at the School of Continuing Education is certified as a test center for (IBT) Meazure Learning tests only.
Meazure test taker should arrive 30 minutes before the exam start time.
