    • Identify the most common stylistic, syntactic and grammatical pitfalls in contemporary standard Arabic
    • Analyze the different language levels in written and spoken Arabic and the areas of usage
    • Develop a taste for Arabic style genius instead of the “foreign accent,” often resulting from a negative inter-lingual transfer
    • Develop self-consciousness of the reader’s attitude when reading any Arabic text, original or translated
    • Identify different styles in the Arabic language and the general feature of each of them
    • Create a sound and grammatical Arabic texts, taking into account the rhetorical characteristics of the Arabic language
    • Read texts correctly in the Arabic language
  • Applicants must obtain a minimum score of 70 percent on the APT or complete the Arabic Grammar 1 course.

    Arabic Proficiency Test (APT) - Face to Face Test 300 Until 6 working days before the beginning of the term.
    Online Arabic Admission Test (OAAT) - Online Test 160 Until 4 working days before the beginning of the term.
    One-day service Test 550 Until 5 working days before the beginning of the term.
    • Learners should choose Face to Face (APT) test OR Online test (OAAT)
    • Exam fees are non-refundable and changes in admission test dates are only allowed two working days in advance of the reserved test session according to the availability by sending an email to sce@aucegypt.edu.
