Managing Difficult Behavior During Training

During the training session, you have to know how to deal with every learner and engage her/him in the discussions and activities. Understanding learners’ personalities are crucial, but what is more important is knowing how to deal with difficult personalities, and resolve conflicts between teams without negative comments, or cause a tense learning environment. In this workshop, you will learn how to manage difficult learners and difficult situations as well. You will learn specific strategies of how to engage those difficult learners to create a positive learning environment.

*One continuing education unit equals 10 contact hours.

1. Identify the causes of difficult behavior
2. Recognize the different types of difficult learners
3. Discuss various strategies for managing each type of difficult learners
4. Manage stressful situations in training
5. Analyze real-life cases and evaluate the strategies used to manage that difficult behavior
