Fundamentals of Fundraising Management help participants have the basic knowledge and required skills to build their careers in the fundraising field.

  • With the expansion of nonprofit organizations, the need for fundraising activities rises. In this 45-hour certificate, participants will be provided with the basic knowledge and required skills for building their careers in the fundraising field. During this project-based and interactive learning experience, participants will become familiar with fundraising fundamentals, its cycle, plan components, know the different types of donors, and draft professional proposals. They will also learn planning skills like budgeting techniques, create a winning marketing message that attracts donors, and build successful relations with them. In addition to fundraising management skills like budgeting techniques and setting the Key performance indicators of their fundraising activities, participants will also be guided on developing their interpersonal skills and voice techniques to ensure their success in this career.

  • Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

    1. Recognize the concept and principles of fundraising and its value for nonprofit business sustainability
    2. Identify Fundraising cycle; stages and plan components
    3. Identify the different types of donors
    4. Write professional proposals for winning donors
    5. Set plans for successful and sustainable donors relations
    6. Develop winning marketing communications plans to attract donors
    7. Recognize the nature and value of some special events in supporting fundraising
    8. Practice the needed interpersonal skills and voice techniques for successful fundraising professionals
    9. Identify different budgeting techniques for funding fundraising activities
    10. Select the right Key performance indicators KPIs to ensure successful results of fundraising campaigns
    • Applicants must have basic computer literacy.
    • Applicants must obtain the score for course ENGGB1A on the SEPT/OEPT or pass ENGGA2D.

    • Learners should choose Face to Face (SEPT) test OR Online test (OEPT)
    • Exam fees are non-refundable and changes in admission test dates are only allowed two working days in advance of the reserved test session according to the availability by sending an email to sce@aucegypt.edu.
