  • This program consists of nine CFR-aligned courses, from CEFR A2 to CEFR B2, in a learner-centered, task-based, and flipped classroom. Learners participate in speech tasks intended to improve their communication skills. The courses focus on improving learner listening and speaking skills. They listen to various online materials, including conversations, speeches, announcements, debates, and negotiations in various contexts, listening for details and main ideas. In class, they engage in dialogues, debates, role-playing, and give presentations on various topics. The topics discussed in class are varied and range from simple to complex. Real-life tasks are provided throughout the term in each course of the Oral Communication Program. The classroom environment provides real-time contexts for students to interact in English throughout the thirty hours of each course. Learners obtain a certificate of achievement at the end of every three courses.
