Auditing and Internal Review (Stand-Alone Course)

The course topics cover audit procedures and their framework, internal audit and internal review, audit regulations, audit planning and risk, audit internal control, and internal review evidence and reporting.

*Continuing Education Unit equals 10 contact hours.

A stand-alone certificate will be issued upon the successful completion of each course.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

1. Demonstrate the auditing profession
2. Apply the audit process
3. Produce the audit report

The following admission requirements are mandatory for students who wish to complete the Career Certificate in Accounting or Career Certificate in Finance only:

• Applicants must pass the Standardized English Proficiency Test (SEPT)/The Online English Placement Test (OEPT) and score level ENGGB1A
• Continuing Education level SBAF 101 Minimum Grade of D and Continuing Education level SBAF 106 Minimum Grade of D
• Applicants must have basic computer literacy

The following admission requirements are mandatory for students who wish to complete the course as Stand-Alone Certificate – Attendance Certificate:

• Applicants must have basic computer literacy
• Applicants must pass the Standardized English Proficiency Test (SEPT)/The Online English Placement Test (OEPT) and score level ENGGB1A or passing ENGGA2D
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent with a minimum of two years of professional experience in the accounting/finance field

• Learners should choose Face to Face (SEPT) test OR Online test (OEPT). 
• Exam fees are non-refundable, and changes in admission test dates are only allowed two working days before the reserved test session according to availability by emailing sce@aucegypt.edu.
