Teachers Training Graduation by the Regional English Language Office of the US Embassy Cairo

The School of Continuing Education (SCE) hosted a graduation for programs supported by the Regional English Language Office of the United States Embassy in Cairo. Teachers from governments and Al Azhar schools across Egypt came to The American University in Cairo (AUC) Tahrir Square campus to receive certificates in programs including 9 Steps of Highly Effective Teachers, Teacher Training for English Proficiency, Mentors' Program, and Basic English Teaching for Young Learners.

Teachers from Al Azhar Institute schools were trained at the English Language Resource Center at Al Azhar University, operated by SCE. In addition to speakers from SCE and the embassy, the ceremony also included Sheikh Ayman Abdel Ghani of Al Azhar and Abdel Dayem Nosair, Education Advisor to the Grand Imam.
