AUC's SCE Contributes to Global Dialogue on the Future of Continuing Education
The School of Continuing Education at The American University in Cairo proudly participated in the Inaugural Roundtable on Dialogue of University Continuing Education Schools, hosted by Hong Kong Metropolitan University and its continuing education arm, LiPACE.
Bringing together leading institutions from 10 countries, the roundtable provided a dynamic platform for sharing insights, discussing common challenges and exploring forward-looking strategies that will shape the future of continuing education worldwide.
During the event, AUC's SCE delivered a presentation highlighting more than a century of impact and innovation in lifelong learning. The presentation showcased the school's enduring commitment to empowering individuals, strengthening communities and responding to the evolving needs of learners and industries.
AUC's SCE representatives also led an engaging discussion on bridging the skills gap through lifelong learning, sharing practical approaches and successful models that help prepare professionals for the rapidly changing demands of today's workforce.
The participation concluded with a meaningful gesture as AUC's SCE presented gifts to the Egyptian Reading Room at LiPACE, symbolizing a lasting cultural and educational connection and reinforcing the presence of Egypt, AUC and AUC's SCE within the global continuing education community.
