Tests are offered face-to-face or online depending on the class mode of delivery.

Prospective learners, who would like to apply for English language courses, must sit for the Standardized English Proficiency Test (SEPT) or Online English Placement Test (OEPT).

Prospective learners, who would like to apply for oral communication English language courses, must sit for the Oral SEPT (OSEPT) or Online Oral English Placement Test (OOET).

Prospective learners, who would like to apply for studies other than English language courses, must sit for SEPT or OEPT and they may be required to sit for further entrance tests as demonstrated in the next table. In case Department Directors (DDs) would like to make any changes in the below admission/placement language proficiency cut-off scores/courses, they must consult the Evaluation, Testing and Assessment Department (ETAD) Director to determine an alternate cut-off score.
