This is a course in Modern Standard Arabic for learners with no prior exposure. It emphasizes the development of the ability to write and read with a special focus on the mastery of pronunciation. It starts with a focus on the writing and sound production of the alphabet; moves on to writing words; and constructing simple, short sentences.
