Financial Reports Analysis (Stand-Alone Course)

The Financial Reports Analysis course provides the learners with in-depth techniques for developing and writing financial reports. Learners will get acquainted with how to read and interpret the financial reports through extended practices on using trend analysis (financial ratios) to point out management weaknesses, strengths and reasons behind them both during the studied accounting period as a step for (short & long-term) financial planning.

*Continuing education unit equals 10 contact hours.

A stand-alone certificate will be issued upon the successful completion of each course.

1. Differentiate the types of analysis (common size analysis, trend analysis, and other analysis)
2. Analyze financial reports using both common size & trend analysis
3. Interpret the most commonly used financial ratios to measure management performance
4. Analyze reasons behind financial ratios trends and conclude the possible alternatives
