This course examines the emphasis on how compensation systems are likely to impact productivity, equity, and the firm’s ability to recruit and keep highly skilled and motivated employees. Topics covered will include compensation and benefits plans, compensation and legislative issues, surveying market pay and compensation practices, job evaluation and the point-factor method, designing a base pay structure, measuring and paying for performance, short- and long-term incentives, benefits and services, and pay delivery administration.
