This comprehensive course is designed to provide participants with a thorough understanding of the principles, concepts, and techniques of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The curriculum covers all key topics required to pass the Diploma in IFRS (DipIFR) exam offered by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). By the end of this course, participants will have the necessary knowledge to understand and apply IFRS, as well as the practical skills needed to prepare group financial statements and handle complex accounting treatments.

  1. Explain the structure and process of the international standard-setting environment and the Conceptual Framework for Financial Reporting
  2. Apply the requirements for the presentation of financial statements and the disclosure of key information according to IAS 1, IAS 8, and IAS 10
  3. Account for tangible non-current assets (IAS 16), investment property (IAS 40), intangible assets (IAS 38), and impairment of assets (IAS 36)
  4. Apply the principles and recognition criteria for revenue from contracts with customers (IFRS 15) and for leases (IFRS 16)
  5. Account for a range of liabilities, including provisions (IAS 37), employee benefits (IAS 19), and income taxes, including deferred tax (IAS 12)
  6. Classify, measure, and present financial instruments according to IFRS 9, IAS 32, and IFRS 7
  7. Prepare consolidated financial statements for a group, including subsidiaries, associates, and joint arrangements, in line with IFRS 10, IFRS 3, IFRS 11, and IAS 28.       
  8. Develop and apply effective test-taking strategies, including time management and question analysis, to maximize performance on the DipIFR exam
  1. Obtaining the score for ENGG A2C on the Standardized English Proficiency Test (SEPT)/Online English Placement Test (OEPT) with Live Proctoring for Arabic sections only
