Registration Instructions, Policies and Procedures

Registration instructions and tips, coupled with a clear understanding of policies and procedures, lay the foundation for a fulfilling and successful academic experience.

The learner can plan and deliver a professional presentation to a live audience. They structure a talk around one core message for a defined audience; design slides that support rather than replace the speaker; control volume, pace, pause and emphasis; use posture, movement, gesture and eye contact to hold the room; manage performance nerves with a preparation routine; and answer audience questions — including challenging ones — with a structured, composed, honest approach. Competence was verified through a performance-based group presentation to a skeptical panel on a realistic Egyptian business case, with an individually cross-examined question-and-answer defence.

  1. Apply a one-message structuring framework to build a 7-minute presentation plan in which the core message is stated verbatim in both the opening minute and the close, and each body section demonstrably supports it per the structure checklist.
  2. Produce a slide deck for the capstone talk in which every slide carries one idea with a message-bearing title, meets the legibility rules of the design checklist, and contains no paragraph the speaker reads aloud.
  3. Demonstrate, in a live 7-minute talk, vocal delivery that stays within the checklist bands for audibility and pace, uses deliberate pauses or emphasis at the marked key moments, and keeps filler words below the stated threshold.
  4. Demonstrate, in the live talk, physical delivery meeting all professional-presence checklist items: open posture, purposeful (not pacing) movement, supportive gestures, and eye contact distributed across the audience.
  5. Demonstrate, in a live Q&A following the talk, the answer framework (acknowledge–answer–bridge) on at least three questions, including one planted challenging question, maintaining composure per the checklist and deferring honestly when an answer is unknown.
