Language System Workshop

It is a five-hour workshop that prepares the FELT holders to refresh their knowledge about teaching language systems (Grammar, Vocabulary, Functional Language and pronunciation). This workshop provides the English language teachers with effective approaches and techniques of teaching language system so as to enhance their learners’ autonomy and engage them cognitively in the learning process. The main aim of the workshop is to equip the FELT holders with different methodologies to help them support their classes and make learning language systems interesting inside the classroom; accordingly, their learners can use it easily outside the classroom.

Learning Outcomes

1. Identify different approaches for introducing language system

2. Demonstrate effective techniques for presenting the new language

3. Discuss and compare the effectiveness of the new approaches with the common ones
