Upon completion of ASPD, supervisors will be able to:
- Negotiate and hire new workers
- Coordinate and manage operations
- Communicate effectively and report to superiors
- Estimate needs, ensure supply, and manage resources
- Efficiently use modern tools and machinery in all aspects of their work
- Comply with and apply regulations, laws, safety and health precautions

Learners must have at least three years of experience in a technical-related field after high school completion or completed >5 CEUs (>50 Hours) in SCE’s Applied Studies Department in a specific area of specialization or have a bachelor's degree.

- Learners must have at least three years of experience in a technical-related field after high school completion or completed >5 CEUs (>50 Hours) in SCE’s Applied Studies Department at a specific area of specialization or have a bachelor's degree.
- Learners must obtain a minimum score of A2C proficiency level on SCE’s standardized English proficiency test.
