Scholarship FAQS

Where is the course location?

Either at the Tahrir or New Cairo campus, as per availability and your preference.

How long is the course?

The course is either 6 or 12 weeks. 

How long is the scholarship?

 It is only for a maximum of one year from July to June.

Is this a certificate or a diploma?

SCE offers only career certificates and professional certificates. 

Do you fund my stay in Cairo?

No, SCE only funds the certificate. 

What if I failed in one of the courses?

You can repeat the course on your own account.

Can I postpone the scholarship if I get it?

No, you can’t. Other people can benefit from the fund at the time allotted. 

What happens after we submit the scholarship?

• The submitted application forms are initially screened by the Scholarship Award Committee (SAC) members for accuracy of information and compliance with the selection criteria. 
• The screened candidates are requested to come to the School of Continuing Education (SCE) for an interview with SAC. 
• The candidates who have passed the interview are offered scholarships to enroll in one of SCE career certificates.
• Awarded candidates are to sign a Letter of Commitment.
