What is Career Accelerator?
The Career Accelerator is a new way to build your career, one proven skill at a time.
Instead of long programs with one certificate at the end, you earn micro-credentials. A micro-credential is a verified digital badge that proves you can do one specific skill, not just that you attended a course.
This is how the system works:
You learn one skill.
You prove it in a hands-on assessment.
You earn a badge and a certificate for it.
Each badge is a credential you own for life, and employers can check it online to see exactly what you can do.
With 200+ micro-credentials across 17 career tracks, the idea is simple. Skills become credentials, and credentials build careers. Earn one skill at a time, and stack your credentials toward the job you want.
Every credential is issued by AUC School of Continuing Education. We are accredited by IACET, a leading international body for continuing education. Your badge is verified, and employers can trust it.
Who is it for?
- Starting your career? Build the skills and proof that open your first door.
- Switching careers or moving up? Add new skills without starting over.
- Need one skill, fast? Learn it, prove it, and earn the credential to show for it.
Assess. Stack. Get hired.
How it Works?
1. Learn a Skill
Choose one job-ready skill. Learn it in 12 to 22 hours, at a pace that fits your life.
2. Prove your Ability
Show what you can do in one hands-on assessment — a real task, not a memory test.
3. Earn a Credential.
Pass, and you receive a verified digital badge and a Certificate of Competency within 10 business days.
4. Stack Credentials.
Combine 3 to 8 credentials to qualify for a specific job. Or complete a full track to show mastery of a whole field.
5. Advance your Career
Walk into the job market with proof of what you can do.
What Tracks are Available?
The Career Accelerator has 17 tracks. Start anywhere. Every track welcomes beginners and builds up to advanced levels.
What can you Earn?
Skill-Credential: one skill
One credential for one skill. You learn it, prove it in a hands-on assessment, and earn your badge.
Example: “Social Media Strategy” is one Skill-Credential. So is “Reading Financial Statements.”
Job Credential: skills from different tracks, for one job role
Some jobs need skills from more than one field. A Job Credential combines 3 to 8 Skill-Credentials, from one track or from several, into proof that you are ready for a specific job role. There are no extra courses.
Example: a Marketing Trainer needs marketing skills plus training skills. Earn credentials from both tracks, and you qualify for the Marketing Trainer Job Credential.
Track Credential: mastery of one full track
Complete one track from start to finish, and you earn its Track Credential — proof that you have mastered that entire track.
Example: complete the whole Data Analytics and Business Intelligence track — from Excel to Python — and you earn the Data Analytics Track Credential.
Why is it different?
Traditional Training
- Takes months to finish
- One paper certificate at the end
- You pass by attending classes
- Everyone studies the same content
- Teaches general knowledge
- Hard to fit around a job
- Recognition depends on the provider
The Career Accelerator
- Takes 12 to 22 hours per credential
- A digital badge for every skill you earn
- You pass by doing a real work task
- You follow a pathway built for your goal
- Teaches the exact skills employers ask for
- Fits around your job and your life
- Accredited by IACET and awarded by AUC School of Continuing Education
Stacking in action
Here is how one learner could use the Career Accelerator:
Sara wants to become a Digital Marketing Analyst. She starts at the Career Clinic, where her pathway is mapped. She then earns credentials in social media strategy, SEO, online advertising, email marketing, statistics, and data analysis. Together, these stack into one Job Credential: Digital Marketing Analyst. Sara now applies for jobs with verified proof of her skills — not just a line on a resume.
Not Sure Where to Start?
The Career Clinic is our advising service and the best first step. We assess where you stand today. Then we map a personalized pathway to the role you want. You will always know which skill to learn next — and why.
